Our nursery management is keen on making various trips to entertainment places, tourism projects and restaurants which is located on the sea, also industrial installations.
The benefits of the trip and field visit:
1-It develops social skills exploratory skills at the child and it also empties all his underlying energy even playing to get red of them.

2- It is one of the ways that we teach the children through and in the accompany of their friends at school that is very important.
3- It's also way to make them learn and make them gain knowledge, skills to form their personality. It also develops viewing skills, observation, attention and sensory training. The school trip represents direct contact between the children and their environments

4- It helps informing of esthetic taste to the world and elements of the environment. To become positive participants in it.
5- It also help in making them learn to bear responsibility. It also rises in the mind of the child. Monetary factors, comparison, to think and deal with changing his emotions to many positions. It develops also patience
And love to the community. (The ability to understand the instructions and Appling them).

6- It is direct expertise pictured or experience naked.
In our trip we take into our account all conditions that facilitate benefits of learning:
1-To have a clear educational purpose that can be achieved that are related to the needs and interests of the child.
2-To be under close supervision and take the time in our account .so we head to our children mothers' to develop in the exploration skill.
For that the most important place that the children have to visit in early age is the zoo it is so interesting visit iage .it is not only for fun but for learning also. If your child is between two years to three years so that is the time to teach him about animal's world so we yearly must visit the zoo.
Some of the things that he can learn at the zoo:

The similarity between the animals and human beings in eating , it's need to the mother .then make him realize that he is different from animals in other things like " birds have feathers " "do you have feathers " . then ask him to think in the animals that have one color like frogs , tortoise, and snakes let him compare between them in size sounds , so like that you can use the animals to give the children the example to the skills that he must learn in his age like numbers , sounds of the alphabets .He can also learn the meaning of responsibility in your help to him to take care of birds in your house so he can give those seeds and water. You can make him feel that he is responsible for something in his young age.

Planting skills

We teach our children how to take care of the plant through planting. In which our children plant different kinds of plants in small pots.

That we write their names on it so the child can follow the growing of his own plant in its different stages.
It fulfills different aims of knowledge through planting skills.
1-The child knows the different stages of the plant as we said before (seeds, roots, stamp, leaves, and fruits).

2- He also knows that the plants need air, sun and water to grow.

3-The knows the different stages of the plant that seeds convert toplant

Cooking skills

In our nursery each teacher prepares a meal once a week, for example we can make cakes, biscuits, fruit salad and making sandwiches.
The process of making food is not related only to food and health but science, chemistry and math.
He also learns about counting, weight and measuring the component when he makes the flour with salt and water. Through making bread   and but it in the oven he can see how is heat important in cooking things. He also learns comparison, dividing, equal, subtracting, and adding through distributing the bread among them
It develops language through knowing the names of the components of each recipe it gives him new vocabulary words.

It also make them use their five senses because the child sees the vegetables and fruits, he also can identify the shape, color

Taste and smell. And He can differentiate between salty, sugar and sour taste

Activities and Skills Department

Al Bustan Nursery implies as a core goal in empowering the children to integrate and sharpen their talent and enhance their performance through various educational program. One of the basic tools is Arts, Crafts and physical exercise.

THE BENEFIT OF ARTS & CRAFTS

Children naturally love art & crafts, such as: painting, drawing, cut and paste of craft gives them skills to express and develop their imaginative thinking. This important activity of arts builds the children’s brain.

Physiologically, the human brain is divided into left and right cerebral hemispheres. The left brain is used in logical thinking and analytical processes. This is typically what is trained in school work that consists of math, reading and science. The right brain is used in emotional perception, intuition and creativity.

It is the right brain that is mainly used when a person is involved in creative endeavors such as making art.

It is shown that when gifted kids solve problems in their areas of giftedness, there is increased electrical activity in both hemispheres. It appears that for the brain to be efficient, the two hemispheres of the brains must work together. By stimulating and exercising the right hemisphere of the brain, the arts strengthen the connection between the hemispheres. Kids should be exposed to the arts as their cognitive skills mature so that their right brain will be as developed as the left, and both hemispheres work in tandem, thus achieving the full potential of the mind.

Aside from the physiological effects, the following lists benefits of exposing children to art:

The children learn to think creatively, with an open mind

The children learn to observe and describe, analyze and interpret

The children learn to express feelings, with or without words.

The children practices problem-solving skills, critical-thinking skills, language and vocabulary of the arts

The children discover that there is more than one right answer, multiple points of view

The children can have fun – playing can be learning

The children learn to collaborate with other children and with adults

The children can blossom and excel in the arts.  Even with physical, emotional or learning challenges can experience success.

The children build confidence.  Because there is not just one right way to make art, every child can feel pride in his or her original artistic creations.

These are the compelling reasons why we believe how arts and craft is a pleasurable activity.

  1. Creativity
Creativity enables your child to try out and benefit from new ideas, options and alternatives in any future career. Kids learn to do things in new ways and literally profiting from thinking "out of the box".

  1. Perseverance

Children learn to keep trying until they finish any task. And if something goes wrong... they simply persist by trying new ways and means.

  1. Concentration

Arts and craft will definitely teach your child to focus on one specific task at hand... ignoring other distractions. In short, concentration will definitely improve.

  1. Social Interaction
Arts and craft teach social interaction when working and interacting in smaller groups, communication among friends is also improved.

  1. Task Completion
All arts and craft help children develop a sense of satisfaction on
    task completion.

  1. Planning
Arts and craft also teach kid’s to follow a recipe or plan to completion systematically and logically do things, and formulate new ideas and thoughts.

  1. Expression of Emotions
Arts and craft most important part, it teaches the children expression of emotions and learns to handle frustrations.

  2. Self Image
Arts and craft improve your child's self image. Finding success in the other qualities, with benefits ranging from mere enjoyment to developing long- lasting qualities

In this pre-school period, you can easily see the difference among the learning performances of kids. Some kids learn fast, while some are slow to catch up.

The love and caring your child gets from Al Bustan Nursery, as well as the mental stimulation from his environment and good care of staff around him affect his performance.

It is at this stage that your child's mind works so fast and his interest branches out in many different directions.

By attending to Al Bustan Nursery
he will be encouraged to learn fast and help him early stimulation before the age of 3.

PHYSICAL EXCERSIS

When children play or engage in physical activity, not only do they make their bodies become fit, they are also making themselves smart.  Exercise has many good effects on the brain, more importantly; exercise has “a more long-lasting effect on brains that are still developing.”

The following are findings on how exercises help children become smart:

  •  Exercise increases the flow of blood to the brain. The blood delivers oxygen and glucose,  which the brain needs for heightened alertness and mental focus. Because of this, exercise makes it easier for children to learn.
  •
  • Exercise builds new brain cells in a brain; exercise also stimulates nerve growth factors and has higher level of creativity.
  • Also, exercise builds up the body’s level of brain and helps the children openness to learning and more capacity for knowledge.
  • Physical exercise will help the children to learn confidence, teamwork and leadership.

These are the core value of physical activity:

  1. Make fitness fun. We let the children engage in fun sports or other games they love.

  1. Encourage some competition.  We make them compete with each other in a fun way. Such as small running race to collect colored balls or other creative contests.

  1. Go to regular outings. We take the children explore a nearby park; enjoy the outdoors such as zoo’s and etc…....
